Holy cow that's a lot of skippers. I realize that I'm overly cautious and stuff.. but still.. I would had keeled over at the thought of skipping a class in highschool. It took me til my sophomore year in college to start doing it once ina while, and even then it made me uncomfortable.
They aren't skipping a class, they're just absent entirely.
I have no recollection of skipping school except for that one time we took our college day to get my driver's license. Apparently Martha did it all the time, though

I'm such a wuss.
I'll never forget blowing off school to hang out with Jim etc. at Gold Hall.... good times.
That's crazy! But I guess not unexpected considering the school you work in (from what you say anyway)?
I only skipped school once in high school. College is a whole other story. I was lucky to make it to class 50% of the time.
