Ok, so i got a new car. If you know me, you will not be shocked considering the earlier post. It's not a hybrid, but it is a civic coupe, and it's pretty hot if I say so myself. Pictures to follow.
Oh I love those new civics! Unfortunately I don't think the dogs would travel as well in a civic as they do in my CRV.
Even with gas prices so high, I'm not sure a civic hybrid would be worth it over the civic.. I think it would take years for the money saved in gas to balance out the extra money to buy the hybrid.. If they weren't so expensive I wanted to get a Highlander Hybrid :) Maybe in my next life I'll be able to afford it!
I hear the Civic hybrid does not balance out as far as cost, too. Apparently someone did the math and it would take 8 years to make up the cost difference. BUT, they do only have 10% of the emissions of a regular car, so they are still much greener. and they're just cool.
I LOVE the CRV. I'm so glad we didnt' get rid of it, I don't think we could've done the two door if we didn't keep the crv, but you can't beat 40 m/g with how much I'm driving.
