anthropomorphizing
I have the most anthropomorphized pets in the world, really. My dog gets treated like a little baby. Todd picks her up out of our bed and carries her to her crate at night (she does, however, sleep in a crate, at least when todd is home.) I realize some of you, also, consider your pets like they are your children. Here is a link you will like.

We seriously fear how Ginger will react when we have kids. It's going to get ugly.
you don't baby the cats nearly as much. but I guess they're like the teenagers in your little family.
I buy presents for my pets. Not every time I go to the store, but for more than just holidays.. although holidays are the only time that I actually wrap them. Only the dog gifts though, because the dogs can open them, the cats can't.
And now that Layne (Nate's dog) has moved in with me.. it was amazing how fast she realized I allowed them to sleep on the bed with me. Fortunately they're both smart enough to realize there's just not enough room when Nate is in town, and they go back to their own beds on the floor.
Is that wrong?! ;)
