For all of you who wondered if Todd and I were going on a honey moon, not only are we not, he's working really late all this week. (he had a different job when we planned the wedding).

My Wedding Rocked!

My wedding was awesome. Really. We had so much fun, Todd and I closed the place down. Special thanks to all those who came, and especially those who helped make it all happen, you know who you are.

I will refrain from getting all mushy about it, though.

Life back here at home is a little bit of a let down. Todd is working a ton all this week, so I'll barely see my brand new husband. Also, the place is a wreck, so it was definitely a great big reality check when we got home last night.

At least I have all of these presents to paw :)

I'm SO EXHAUSTED

I'm exhausted. No really.

The good news is I'm finally done with work for the week, which might let me relax and get excited about the wedding. People have been asking me all week if I'm excited, and I've just been way too focused on the matter at hand. I love my job, but it's amazing how much harder I work at it now that I like it.

The other good news is, I've only watched about two minutes of Studio 60, but it's BRILLIANT so far. Thank god for the new TV season.

Stuff here is busy-busy. It's nice to have a job that actually makes me feel BETTER when I'm stressed out instead of worse, though. My kids are really cool and smart and generally pleasant. Particularly my A3 (my third period on A days) thinks I'm awesome and laughs at all my jokes. My B3, on the other hand, never laughs at anything and is dull dull dull, but they're still cool.

The house we're buying here is, I kid you not, CAROLINA BLUE. It's awesome. It's amazing, though, how much more houses cost than they do down there. We're paying more for this one than my mom sold her last house for, and that one was huge. It's all worth it though!!! Keep your fingers crossed for us . . .

OMG

I'm getting married in two weeks. I was talking to my friend after school on friday, and she said "you're getting married in two weeks." and I said "no, it's three." and then I said "oh my god, you're right!" I haven't even bought shoes yet.

If you haven't RSVP'd yet, please do! Even if it's just a comment or an email, I'm going to need a count for the caterer soon.

Martha's right . . .

I haven't been paying attention. It's not my fault. I've been distracted. You see, Todd and I are buying a house. I couldn't tell you before, because we hadn't told the roomies yet. It's not like anything blew up, I still really like them and hope we stay friends and see eachother, we just came to the realization that it wasn't going to work out, and that we were in better financial shape with Todd's nwe job. I have my eye on one in particular, so keep your fingers crossed.

Today was the first day of school!! I love the first day of school. My kids are so good I can hardly stand it. I'm worried I was way too nice to them today. I didn't even give them homework.
