This is a doggie blog.

Chloe went to the vet today. She is very healthy, the official word is that she is some kind of st bernard mix. The dead give away is that she has double toes, meaning kind of two thumbs on her back feet (even though dogs don't have thumbs) We knew this was a trait great pyrenese had (anothe rhuge dog) but the vet said St Bernards have it too, which makes a lot mroe sense with what she looks like.

Beth isn't sure what to make of her. She alternates between mothering her and being annoyed by her. The funniest thing is everytime we pick up the leash (which is , literally, almost every five minutes) beth wants to go out too. That is, after all, her leash. She will stand at the door and cry if you go out without her. It's funny.

People keep asking us why we "did that" to ourselves. I hate they way if you don't want kids (which I do, don't get me wrong) it's totally rude to act all snobby to people who are pregnant or have children, but just because you don't like dogs it's ok to totally rain on my parade and be rude to my pets. thhhbt. Fortunately, I'm sure someone I know won't be that kind of parent.

Merry Christmas!

That's right, that's my christmas present. More pictures later, she wouldn't hold still. We think her name is chloe.

Nothing like a good Vaccuming session

Vaccuming is one of the few household chores I really like. It's just very satisfying to see all the dirt dissapearing, and it makes the house look so good when it's done.

Unfortunately, between the christmas tree and all the pets, it only lasts about five seconds

Scooping leaves out of the pool is another thing like that. Todd and I inherited a pool from our previous homeowners. It's a cute little above ground pool, and I think in the summer it will be really nice. However, because we had no idea how to do it, we waited WAY too long to put the cover on a close it up for the winter. So it turned all green and filled up with leaves. We've spent all weekend cleaning it out. Fortunately, scooping leaves rings the same bell as vaccuming (pool vaccuming, on the other hand, is super slow and UNsatisfying.)

In other news, our picture cd's from the wedding finally came! They will be posted on snapfish, soon.

I believe in the church of baseball . . .

I love this time of year, aside from the fact that everywhere we went shopping today was BEYOND CRAZY busy.

Todd and I are watching Bull Durham! It's great because he knows all the lines, and I laugh at the same jokes ever time I see them (that's true for all movies, though).

Tomorrow we have to finish trying to close up our swimming pool for the season (we have no idea what we're doing, really) and make christmas cookies!! I have some very ambitious ideas for christmas cookies, we'll see how they turn out.

Next weekend my SEESTUR is coming!!! yay!
