I just read the best book, it's called How I Learned to Cook: Culinary Educations from the World's Greatest Chefs by Kimberly Witherspoon and Peter Meehan

It's a collection of essays from all these famous chefs, some of whom you know like Mario Batali, and some of whom you may know, like Tom Collichio, and some of whom you've never heard of. It's hilarious, and great to read if you just want something quick (essays always go quick for me) and especially if you like to cook, but even if you don't.
