My dog is an A-hole
I love my dogs. All four of them, really. I do. But two of them, in particular, have been giving me some trouble, lately.
First of all, the old lady, Shea, is quite the escape artist. Dog crates the size of hers have two latches, one at the top and one at the bottom. If you accidentally don't latch the bottom one, the big butt can SLITHER OUT THE DOOR. The door is now bent from her doing this, which makes it easier to not latch the bottom latch . . . etc etc. Today, Todd DID latch the bottom latch, and she managed to basically take the crate apart from the inside and get out (if you're familiar with wire dog crates, you can imagine how she basically pushed the front panel until it popped out and squeezed out.)
Chloe, the persistent problem child, has been really good lately, BUT, tonight, she just wanted to fight with everyone. She would sit when I told her to, lay down when I told her to, get off the counter when I told her to (whooooole other issue) but would just randomly try to pick a fight with a dog who walked past her.
Pain.
Lexi, who is a total sweetheart, just doesn't want to be still. Does anyone have a really good dog toy to recommend? They're not big fans of kongs, unless they're stuffed, and that's expensive, they like hooves, but I'm not sure it's good for them. My friend, Renee, has these cool nylabones that look like rawhide bones. I'm thinking about trying some of those.

Who needs kids when you have dogs? They sound like just as much work!
We got Stella a nylabone and she loves it! She's a chewer and destroys any other toy we give her. The nylabone is the first thing to withstand her chewing.
I never knew they made all those cool shapes, they even have ones shaped line dinosaurs.
Interesting to know.
