It's been over a month since we last spoke
and really nothing's been happening. At least not the kinds of things you blog about.
This whole writers strike thing has really got me down (oh, snap, I should've used the excuse I was striking from my blog as as how of solidarity or something. too late now, I guess.) I love my TV, and my life is way less entertaining without it. The true gravity of the situation will set in when no new shows come back in January.
Meanwhile, we still have four dogs. Shea shea is starting to show the wear and tear of age, she is definitely sleeping a lot more and has fallen down getting off of the couch a few times, she doesnt seem to be in any pain and is still going strong, though.
The puppies on theo ther hand, are full of life. And then some. Chloe has always been very stubborn and really into herself. Lexi is sweeter, but tends to chase after things and wants to eat everything she finds on the ground. Neither one seems very interested in just laying down or hanging out in the house.
Our Christmas gift to each other is some fancy e-collars that our awesome friend Renee is going to help us learn to use to help them be calmer and listen more. We have already stopped leaving them outside by themselves and keeping them inside with us more, and are trying to get back to actually enjoying all our dogs, instead of just having them.

I'm quite distraught over the writer's strike. I love TV.
Yeah, I'm really sad about the writers strike too. I think most of my favorite shows have like one episode left that will air in January (although some are already done) and then that's it! Plus no 24 this year. That's just wrong.
And yeah, I hope the collars work for your dogs. I'm not sure what e-collars are but the training collars we got for our dogs work pretty well for walking and for having people come over without worrying about them being mauled!
